After an uncharacteristically poor close to the game on Sunday Night from Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins, a report from ProFootballTalk has implied that he is currently suffering from concussion and will not be practicing with the team today.

According to Jeff McLane from the Philadelphia Inquirer, Jenkins is expected to return to practice on Thursday after following the leagues concussion protocol. Chip Kelly fully expects Malcolm to be back for tomorrows practice.

There have been no details regarding when the injury was sustained but the former Superbowl winning Safety played in all 78 plays on Defense and began to suffer late on when assigned the task of covering Cole Beasley. Beasley ended the game with 112 yards and two touchdowns as he blasted past Jenkins time after time. There was something not right about that last quarter, Jenkins who leads the team in tackles with 54 seemed out of the loop, slow and almost distant..this would answer the questions as to why he suffered.

Jason Peters was joined by Nelson Agholor on Wednesday as the duo returned to practice whilst DeMeco Ryans took part in the activities without his helmet and worked on the sidelines with trainers. practiced last week but was held out of Sunday’s game in Dallas.
