It’s not the move many were expecting, but the Eagles off-season is in full swing as they sign Chris Pantale to a reserve futures deal.
Pantale was on the practice squad for the majority of this season behind Celek, Ertz and Trey Burton who all ended up taking snaps.
Similar to Celek, Pantale is a blocking Tight-End who is aggressive in his techniques and possesses a very tough stiff arm whilst lacking the agility or speed to become a real passing threat. His real strength comes in the way of opening up holes for the running game..interesting.
The Eagles signed 70% of their practice squad to futures deals a few weeks ago with the likes of Villanova running back Kevin Monangai and Guard Malcolm Bunche.
