And the biggest plot twist of the day doesn’t even come from Philadelphia. Former Head Coach Chip Kelly has been staring adversity in the face for the past week or two but it appears his search for a new position has ended faster than the Eagles search for his replacement.

Many anticipated that Chip Kelly would end up in San Francisco if he were to stay in the NFL due to having a previous affiliation with Tom Gamble. That also means the possibility of seeing a Kaepernick and Chip relationship has just sky rocketed.
Kelly was fired from Philadelphia following a second consecutive season without playoff Football and a seemingly deteriorating locker room. Some gutsy trades that arguably backfired and the exit of some of the teams biggest stars in the last decade all added up in the “reasons to fire Chip” pile. It appeared that Lurie had a disagreement with Kelly who put up no fight to keep his job at the end of 2015.
Kelly has seemingly found salvation with the Niners and his friend Tom Gamble but just days after sources were claiming NFL Owners didn’t like Kelly’s actions or would not risk taking a chance on him, the former Eagles Coach has been hired after just one interview by an NFL team.
