Eric Rowe cleared to play against the Redskins on Saturday

In Chip Kelly’s most recent meeting with the press, it was revealed that Eagles cornerback Eric Rowe has been cleared to play against the Redskins on Saturday following a concussion that he picked up against the Cardinals.

Kelly also claimed that the rookie will be returning to training today which is a huge breath of fresh air considering at this stage Rowe may be their number one option at Corner.

Byron Maxwell is also said to be “day-to-day” but it’s also been reported that he has a strain in his SC joint. Maxwell will not be taking part in practice today.

With Rowe presumably returning to the lineup, it takes a lot of pressure off the shoulders of Jaylen Watkins who spoke to media yesterday about the threat of DeSean Jackson. His responses seemed a little anxious to say the least and understandably so.
