With 13 games gone in this years NFL season, the Eagles are looking very good in terms of depth heading into those crucial final three matchups. But as practice ensued in preparation to face the Cardinals, the Eagles appear to yet again have some potential setbacks.

Wide receiver Jordan Matthews was absent from practice today following the teams win against Buffalo. It’s important to remember that Matthews did suffer a back injury and was listed as questionable for the game against the Bills so this may well be conditioning.

It’s unclear what the chances of a Matthews start on Sunday are but we should receive an official injury status tomorrow.

Both Matt Tobin and Allen Barbre were also sidelined today, their injury status is also set to be revealed tomorrow.

The rest of the Eagles were practicing as normal including Ryan Mathews, Jason Peters, Eric Rowe and Walter Thurmond. All of whom suffered minor setbacks in recent weeks.

UPDATE: Byron Maxwell was also reported to be sidelined during todays activities.
