Today was the penultimate time the Eagles players would have to prepare physically before leaving for Detroit on Wednesday and it went largely as expected.
Sam Bradford was still limited but appears confident that he can play on Thursday. We’re not likely to know who will start against the Lions until the day of the game but after Bradford expressed some discomfort in the non throwing arm today when throwing, he could well be 50-50 but expects to be game ready in the next 48 hours if progression continues.
Both Zach Ertz and Ryan Mathews sat out again due to undergoing concussion protocol. Ertz will be sidelined on Thursday meaning that Trey Burton will likely stand in for him.
Interestingly, frustrated Center Jason Kelce missed practice with a knee injury. It will be an interesting story to keep an eye on and see if any further announcements are made by the team in the coming days.
Connor Barwin was back in action today alongside Kiko Alonso, Jason Peters, Walter Thurmond and DeMeco Ryans..all of whom had been limited at some stage or another during the last seven days.
