Jason Peters will suit up but not start for Eagles

Jason Peters was always doubtful for the Dolphins game after not practicing this week. After a non-contact tackle saw Peters go down with back spasms, Peters sat out last week with Lane Johnson taking his place on the opposite side of the Offensive Line. That looks to be the case today as it’s been revealed that Jason Peters WILL dress, but not start for the Eagles.

Peters is now officially inactive. Johnson (who is seen as the heir to the throne that Peters sits on) held his own against Dallas and the Offensive Line not only gave bradford plenty of time but paved the way for a running game performance that saw each back average over 4.6 yards per carry.

Dennis Kelly also had a surprisingly good game in Johnson’s vacant Right Tackle spot, perhaps this gives Chip more time to judge exactly what areas need improving on the Offensive Line because whilst weak on star power and prowess,  Babre and both Kelly and Tobin pulled their weight last Sunday.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Peters not play a single snap today just to make sure he’s fully healthy when he does return to the field.
