Prince Amukamara out for minimum of 3 weeks

The Eagles have had a couple of injuries to deal with this week, but perhaps none of this stature. The New York Giants have the worst Pass defense in the NFL and to make things worse, it was announced earlier today that cornerback Prince Amukamara will miss the game due to a suspected torn pectoral muscle.

Tom Coughlin told reporters the extent of the injury ahead of todays Giants practice. The star cornerback sat out a percentage of plays against the Niners but was able to finish the game..unfortunately for Coughlin..he won’t start this one.

Jayron Hosley is the name on the lips of Giants fans who look to see who will step up to try and fill the huge void left by Prince. Hosley leads the team in passes defended and covered for Rodgers-Cromartie in the NFC East showdown with Washington.

This benefits the Eagles hugely when you take into account how the Offense has evolved this season. The Eagles have aimed to utilise the deep pass against non suspecting Defenses and after a 300 yard game against New Orleans…the weakest secondary in the NFL is now without it’s star corner…are we going to see another big day for Bradford?
