Jaylen Watkins could be next to leave Philly

It’s been a stressful day for Eagles fans as they wonder whether Chip has one more master plan up his sleeve before the cut deadline of 4PM tomorrow. From Mostert to Prosinski, Barkley to Bailey, there have certainly been some big names cut.

NJ.com are reporting that Jaylen Watkins is being shopped out by the Eagles. The source who spoke to journalist  Eliot Shorr-Parks asked to remain nameless due to not being authorised to give out such information, however Watkins is indeed a bubble player and even if he isn’t traded, it would be surprising to see his return.

It’s a puzzling move, but it would express confidence in Eric Rowe. Behind him it would predictably be seven year veteran E.J. Biggers and possibly Denzel Rice. The team appear to be hot on the undrafted rookie whose future as of right now remains uncertain. However there is always the possibility of adding Thurmond in from his safety position.
