Earlier today, the Philadelphia 76ers announced the dates and teams for their seven-game preseason which begins with a trip to Washington to face the Wizards on October sixth.
The schedule is as follows:

Cavaliers October 8th
Nets October 10th
@ Knicks October 12th
Wizards October 16th
@ Nets October 18th
@ Celtics October 24th
The Sixers will be looking to take full advantage of a game against Cleveland, a team who they defeated 95-22 back in January and a team who had gone on to the NBA Finals. If the next generation of Sixers can hang with the best then it’s a promising sign for the upcoming season.
