The Eagles have just announced the signing of explosive but again injury proned veteran wide receiver Miles Austin Monday, signing the ex Cowboy to a one-year contract worth $2 million.
Austin caught 150 passes for 2,361 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2009 and 2010 but has faced ongoing struggles with hamstring injuries since.
Austin has missed 15 games since 2011, suffering a 2014 absence following a kidney injury in a game against Buffalo.
Austin joins the very limited receiver core in Philly, becoming only the fourth wide receiver with any NFL experience.
Austin, who turns 31 this summer caught two touchdowns last year and reached over 500 yards but again like Kiko Alonso, Sam Bradford DeMarco Murray and even Walter Thurmond, has big question marks over his head regarding his ability to stay fit for a full season.
