As soon as you think you’ve seen it all, this happens. Tim Tebow has been trying out for the Philadelphia Eagles this afternoon before leaving the NovaCare complex.
Tebow, now 27, hasn’t played in an NFL regular-season game since 2012 where he was backup to none other than current Eagles backup Mark Sanchez.
It’s hard to see where Tebow fits into Chip Kelly’s offense with Sam Bradford set to join Sanchez, Barkley and G.J. Kinne this season. Unless it was just a potential favour to get him back in the NFL groove, I can’t see Tebow becoming an Eagle any time soon. Adam Schefter had also tweeted that Tim won’t be joining the Eagles for now..but this is Chip Kelly we’re talking about so anything is possible!
