The Flyers have signed 5″10, 194lb forward Cole Bardreau to a three-year entry-level contract that will commence at the start of next season according to general manager Ron Hextall.
Bardreau, 21, has most recently spent four years at Cornell university and led them in scoring with 5 goals and 17 assists for 22 points in 30 games as a senior. He recorded 18 goals and 53 points in the 103 games he started for the University.
With Hexy acquiring plenty of leverage in the upcoming draft and having traded away Timonen, it’s pretty clear that the Flyers are building for the future. The team are also failing to score secondary goals so with some young blood entering the team next year it could be the perfect signing.
