MLS Matchday 10 was another belter of a weekend. Inter Miami is no longer unbeaten, having lost to FC Dallas on Sunday night. The Vancouver Whitecaps extended their points lead at the top of the Western Conference with a win over Minnesota United.
The Eastern Conference standings shuffled quite a bit. FC Cincinnati jumped into the top spot with a 2-1 win over Sporting Kansas City, but the Columbus Crew is just one point behind them. The Philadelphia Union picked up a clean sheet over D.C. United and is into third.
Here are some of the best matches from another exciting weekend of MLS action.

Dallas ends Miami’s perfect MLS streak
I don’t think many people saw FC Dallas out of all the clubs ending Inter Miami’s unbeaten streak, but they did. Dallas took home three points in a 4-3 win against a Miami side that was missing all of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Jordi Alba.
Dallas quickly got on the scoresheet, and Shaq Moore scored in the 8th minute. Miami answered back in the 16th minute with a goal by Fafa Picault. Miami grabbed a 2-1 lead in the 29th minute from Allen Obando and then made it 3-1 courtesy of Hector Martinez in the 56th minute.
Down 3-1 in the second half, Dallas completed the comeback scoring three goals in the 65th, 69th, and 81st minutes.
Union picks up clean sheet against D.C. United
The Philadelphia Union picked up their second consecutive clean sheet on Saturday with a 3-0 win over D.C. United. During the match, Jakob Glesnes, Danley Jean-Jacques, and Bruno Damiani all found the back of the net.
The Union picked up their sixth win of the season and is currently third in the East. Bradley Carnell made a few changes to the starting XI, but everything went according to plan.
Whitecaps take down Minnesota United MLS’s West powerhouse match
The Vancouver Whitecaps continue to roll through their competition. Their latest victim this weekend was Minnesota United, which is also a top team in the West this year.
The first half ended scoreless, but Vancouver scored three goals in the 55th, 66th, and 70th minutes. Minnesota added a goal in the 80th minute, but it was too late to mount any comeback.
Vancouver sits at the top of the West with 23 points, five more than the second-place Portland Timbers.
Cincinnati goes atop MLS’s East with win over KC
Charlotte FC sat atop the East after Matchday 9, but now it’s FC Cincinnati. Cincinnati took down Sporting Kansas City 2-1 on Saturday afternoon to move into first.
Kevin Denkey scored a brace on Saturday, with the second goal coming from a bicycle kick—an MLS goal of the year-worthy candidate. Zorhan Bassong scored for Kansas City in the 90th minute to make things interesting before stoppage time.
Kansas City couldn’t mount anything during the added three minutes of stoppage time, and Cincinnati picked up a fifth-straight win.
Nashville embarrasses the Chicago Fire, 7-2
Nashville SC took no prisoners on Saturday against the Chicago Fire, picking up a 7-2 win. Five of those goals came before halftime.
Sam Surridge scored FOUR goals during the win for Nashville. Surridge has become the second player to score four goals in a match this season. Brian White of the Vancouver Whitecaps scored four times during Matchday 8.
Nashville has been cooking recently, and they’re sitting sixth in the East.
