There’s only one way to see this going. Belgium have long been the team that never quite meets expectations on the international stage despite a squad of superstars, and with Kevin De Bruyne’s best years coming to an end, there isn’t long left to capitalize on the core they have, placing further importance on success.
Belgium now bring the threat of Jeremy Doku to the table along with the likes of Trossard and Lukaku, it’s hard not to be excited about their explosiveness offensively in the early stages of the tournament.

After World Cup Final heartbreak in 2022 and a disappointing EURO campaign beforehand, France will be looking for vengeance at the EURO’s. Their first stop on the tour is a clash against Austria, who have become quite the competitive unit in recent years, having reached the knockout stage in this tournament last time out.
Not much needs to be said about France, who bring an all-star lineup to the field including the likes of Antonine Griezzman, Ngolo Kante, and Theo Hernandez. Their recent run of dominance speaks for itself and they’re bound to be one of the real juggernauts of this years’ tournament.

While huge underdogs, Austria have faced a similar iteration of this France team on numerous occasions recently, with fixtures in the UEFA Nations League resulting in a draw and a narrow loss. That experience could prove to be pivotal here.
