Cam Smith

To win: +4500
Top-5: +900
Top-10: +400

Before he bounced to LIV, Cam Smith was on top of the Golfing world. He won The Open in astonishing fashion and carried that over to LIV where he’s won 3 league events. Coming into The Masters, he’s not being mentioned in the same breath as Rory, Rahm, and Scheffler…but should he?

Smith finished in 2nd place at The Masters back in 2020, is a proven Major winner, and one of the best ball-strikers on the planet. Not only has he placed inside the top 10 on four occasions at The Masters, but according to BetMystic, he also ranks 4th in Strokes Gained on Approach at Augusta over the last 3 years.

So, why is Smith such a high price? Aside from a slower start to the season by his standards, the Aussie had to withdraw during the LIV Golf Miami event last week due to an illness. It’s not yet clear whether he’s well enough to play, let alone win. That does bring some huge betting upside on a player that always finds himself in contention on the grandest stages.

Tiger Woods

To win: +14000
Top-5: +2200
Top-10: +900

I don’t think it’s likely that Tiger Woods wins The Masters this year, no matter how much my mind might tell me otherwise. However, at +120 to make the cut, there is some value on the best to ever do it.

The obvious question marks about his ankle should hold bettors back from wagering big money, but if there’s anyone who knows how to navigate Augusta, it’s Tiger Woods. He’s also been playing the course fairly regularly, having recently played with Will Zalatoris, who spoke glowingly of Tiger’s form.

We only need two strong rounds from Woods to make the cut, and The Masters features a field filled with older players who lack the ability to keep pace with the young guns. The road to Saturday should be a fairly simple one for Woods to walk down. How much further he goes is anyone’s guess.

Corey Conners

To win: +6000
Top-5: +1100
Top-10: +400

Corey Conners has really started to pick up speed over the last 12 months. While he’s yet to notch a win this season, he did pick up a victory at the Valero Texas Open in 2023 and started 2024 with 9 consecutive made-cuts and an impressive 13th place finish at The Players Championship.

When it comes to Augusta, Conners had 3 consecutive top-10 finishes before a missed cut last year. His putter is still wobbly, but we’re talking about a player who ranks 4th on approach this season and 2nd in GIR%. He feels primed for a strong week at The Masters and has a lot of Golf under his belt this season to prepare him for the week ahead.

Rory McIlroy

To win: +1100
Top-5: +240
Top-10: +115

There are surely only so many more years that we can ask ‘Is this the year that Rory McIlroy can finally complete the career Grand Slam?’ A Green Jacket is the one accolade that has consistently evaded Rory McIlroy, but is this the year he gets it done?

The good news is that if you did want a pivot away from he anxiety-inducing rollercoaster that is backing Rory at Augusta, there has been one of only two outcomes in every rendition of the tournament since 2014. He’s either finished inside the top 10, or he’s missed the cut. 4 of those finishes have been top-5’s, and McIlroy will be keen to avenge a shocking missed cut from last year.

Rory finished third at the Valero Texas Open last week and looks to be in both good spirits and form ahead of this weekend. He’s still one of the best on the planet and has a strong course history here. I would never bet against Rory…but is this the year we bet behind him?

Wyndham Clark

To win: +4000
Top-5: +750
Top-10: +320

After an astonishing breakout, Wyndham Clark is set to make his debut at The Masters. Only one person has won The Masters on their debut and that happened back in 1979, but if anyone’s going to give that record a challenge, it’s this man.

Clark has won an event already in 2024 and finished second on two occasions. A 2nd place finish at The Players Championship really stands out, with Clark showing once again that no moment is too big for him. He’s ranked #4 int he world, is the reigning U.S Open Champion, and is only getting better. Why can’t he pull off another big upset?
