We’re now just one week away from Super Bowl LVIII which will see the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers locking horns. One of the biggest stars taking to the field next weekend is undoubtedly Chiefs TE Travis Kelce, and if you’re looking to bet on him, you’ve come to the right place.
Most sportsbooks have already released their opening lines for Super Bowl LVIII, giving fans plenty of time to pick their favorites ahead of the big game. Travis Kelce has plenty of interesting props to his name that could be worth either backing, or adding to a same-game parlay.
Travis Kelce receiving yards: Over/Under 70
Kelce ended 2023 with 984 receiving yards to his name and 5 touchdowns. Interestingly, he only went over this total 8 times, but 3 of those games have come in the last 3 weeks.
Kelce has always been dominant in the postseason. He’s put up 1,810 yards in 21 playoff appearances on 56 catches and has 19 touchdowns as well. Something about the nature of postseason football brings the best out of the Chiefs tight end, who could shine even brighter next weekend.
In 3 games against the San Francisco 49ers, Travis Kelce has 16 catches for 227 yards along with a touchdown. That averages out at 75 yards per game, which could give you some leverage on this prop if you do decide to back this trend.
Travis Kelce to score a touchdown:
Anytime: -110
Last TD: +600
First TD: +650
Travis Kelce leads the Chiefs in touchdowns this season and as aforementioned, his record in the postseason should provide even more reasons to get excited. 19 touchdowns in 21 playoff games is an incredible record and with the Chiefs really lacking in receiving threats outside of Rashee Rice, we can expect Kelce to continue to dominate targets, especially down in the red zone.
Travis Kelce receptions: Over 6.5 -150
The odds aren’t as juicy here (+114 if you bet the under) but it’s not hard to see why. Kelce has gone over this total in 2 of his last 3 games but racked up 11 receptions last time out. He also averages 5.3 receptions per game in contests against the Niners, so all we really need him to do is have a slightly above-average day at the office for this to land. Given how good Kelce has been in recent weeks and how electric his postseason form has been, it’s not hard to imagine a busy day at the office on Sunday.
Travis Kelce: Race to 20 receiving yards +425
This is one of my favorite props heading into the Super Bowl. It takes into account every receiver from both teams, but it realistically won’t take the Chiefs long to seek out Travis Kelce and start forcing the ball to their top playmaker. He will have to beat the likes of Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle to the post, but all it takes is one big pass over the middle to set the tone.
Best Travis Kelce prop Super Bowl betting offers
If you’re looking to bet on Super Bowl LVIII and some Travis Kelce props, then taking advantage of some betting offers is definitely a good idea. Sportsbooks often give out bonus bets as a thank-you for signing up, meaning your $5 bet on a coin toss could become a $200 bet on the same market! If there’s ever a time to sign up to a few new sportsbooks, it’s right now, knowing you could get thousands of dollars in bonus bets to use as opposed to your own money!
