The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off the heels of a bitterly underwhelming playoff defeat, but there is no time to start licking wounds. Free Agency will begin on March 15th, giving the Eagles two months to make decisions on 17 players who are currently set to hit the open market.

We can already cross two of these players off the list. Brandon Graham told reporters yesterday that he wants to be back for one last rodeo in Philadelphia, and providing he’s willing to take a pay cut, the Birds have no reason to let the lifelong Eagle walk.

Meanwhile, Jason Kelce appears to be ready to hang up the boots. Adam Schefter noted earlier today that the 13-year veteran is planning to retire this year after a truly remarkable career. The Eagles do have a replacement waiting in the wings, but it doesn’t make saying goodbye to the future Hall of Famer any easier.

Elsewhere, the Eagles are set to lose a ton of role players. In fact, the entire linebacker position outside of Nakobe Dean is currently set to hit free agency in 2024. The same can be said for running back, where everyone not-named Kenny Gainwell is currently headed towards the end of their contract. There is no questioning that Howie Roseman will need to get his head down to replenish both spots.
