The Philadelphia Eagles might be limping into the postseason, but they didn’t get eleven wins by accident. There have been some elite performances along the way, and 4 players have been recognized for their play this season by being named to the 2023-24 AP All-Pro team.

What are the AP All-Pro teams?

The Associated Press All-Pro teams are voted on by a group of national sportswriters and broadcasters, recognizing the best of the best each NFL season.

So, which Eagles made the cut?

Lane Johnson

Lane Johnson was been named to the AP All-Pro second-team this season, the second in his career. He’s been named to AP All-Pro teams on four occasions in total.

Pro Football Focus had Lane Johnson graded as the 10th-best overall tackle in football with a grade of 80.9 and the 4th-highest right tackle.

He was also nominated for the Walter Payton Man Of the Year Ward.

Jason Kelce

One of the best to ever do it, Jason Kelce has been named to the AP All-Pro first-team. It’s the sixth time he’s been given this honor over his 13-year career.

With that, he now ties Chuck Bednarik and Reggie White for the most first-team selections in Eagles history.

A.J Brown

It’s a rough year to be a generationally gifted wideout. A.J Brown made the second team on the heels of a remarkable 2022 campaign that saw him finish 5th in the NFL receiving rankings.

After breaking an NFL record six-straight games of 125+ receiving yards, Brown has gone on to dominate all year long.

The Eagles wideout is on track to break the franchise single-season receiving record having already broken the franchise record for most WR receptions in a single season and recorded the most 100+ yard games in Eagles history.

Jake Elliott

It was another remarkable season for Jake Elliott, who also earned second-team honors after setting a single-season franchise record with a 93.8% FG conversion rate. The only downside is that he happened to do it at the same time Braden Aubrey went on a historic tear in Dallas.

Even so, Elliott ranked 6th in the NFL in points and XP, as well as becoming the fifth player in NFL history to record multiple 61+ yard field goals.

Greatest kicker of all time? Maybe…just maybe.
