NFL Super Bowl Favorites

It’s hard not to favor the San Francisco 49ers or Baltimore Ravens when it comes to winning the Lombardi trophy this year. Both teams have been dominant (with a few hiccups), but if it comes down to it, the better quarterback might just tip the scales, and that honor falls on Lamar Jackson’s shoulders.

Best of the rest

The Bills and Cowboys sit in the ‘best of the rest’ category. Buffalo’s turnaround since firing Ken Dorsey has been nothing short of remarkable, and they enter the postseason as one of the most intimidating teams in football. The Cowboys are still going to be tough for any opponent to beat, especially on the road, but they’ve looked far more vulnerable in recent weeks.

A magical Eagles run?

The Eagles might not have been at their best over the last month or so, and their playoff run would demand them to be at their best, but the Eagles have been here before. In fact, this is their third consecutive playoff berth. If they can get right against the Giants this week and find some confidence, who is to say that they won’t catch fire in the postseason as they have on previous occasions?

There is every reason to believe that the Eagles will bounce back. They’ll need to do things the hard way, beating the Bucs, then likely the Cowboys and Niners before even reaching the big dance. However, they have knocked off the Bills, Dolphins, and Chiefs this season alone. If you’re bullish on another Eagles Super Bowl run, there may be no better time to bet on that than right now.
