It feels like all but a certainty that Jalen Carter will be named Defensive Rookie of The Year. What’s even more impressive is that he’s on course to do so despite missing Week 6 against the Jets due to an ankle injury and some time against Washington.
With 5 sacks on the season, Carter also has 17 QB pressures. His ability to rip through opposing offensive lines has been unmatched by most veteran defensive tackles, with the rookie also maintains a PFF grade of 85.5 this season and could well be on his way to a Pro Bowl berth.
If Jalen Carter does win the Defensive Rookie of the Year award, he will be the first-ever Philadelphia Eagle to do so.
