The Philadelphia Eagles are now 11-4 after their Christmas night win over the New York Giants. The Eagles had the best record in the entire league just a few short weeks ago, but they’re now one of three teams sitting at 11-4. Some are worried that the shine is starting to wear off. However, they are now in sole possession of the NFC East crown and look destined to at least make some playoff noise.

What has the win over New York done to their Super Bowl odds?

The Eagles might not have been at their best over the last few weeks, but the road to the NFC East crown is still very clear. Their schedule consists one more clash against the Giants and one against the Cardinals. The Cowboys, meanwhile, lost to the Miami Dolphins and still have to face the Detroit Lions. On the heels of two losses, this is Philadelphia’s division to lose.

The same can kind of be said for the #1 seed. The 49ers occupy that spot right now, but they do have to face the Rams having lost to the Ravens in shocking fashion on Christmas night. This potentially gives the Eagles a chance to reclaim their throne.

There is every reason to believe that the Eagles will keep bounce back from this slump in time for the postseason and that is a scary thought. If you’re bullish on another Eagles Super Bowl run, there may be no better time to bet them than right now.
