In terms of the actual rivalry, the Cowboys lead the regular-season series with a 73-56 record, with the teams splitting their last four meetings 4-4. T

The Cowboys have a 9-3 record this season and are currently riding a four-game win streak. As far as this game being a must-win game goes, it is for Dallas. The road doesn’t get any easier after this game, with clashes against the Dolphins, Bills, and Lions all coming up before reaching the finish line. As for Philly, they get to dance with the Giants twice and face a lowly Cardinals team. All the pressure is on the Cowboys.

A bloodbath on the horizon?

The Eagles’ pass defense has been lackluster all season long. The corners are now struggling, which only compounds the issues at linebacker and Safety, meaning that the one position of strength the Eagles do have defensively is often nullified.

As for the Cowboys, Dak Prescott ripped through this defense a few weeks ago, only to fall short of the mark on the road. Dallas is putting up 263 passing yards per game (3rd in the NFL) and while Philly does have some help in the way of Shaq Leonard, it’s unlikely going to be enough to silence an offense that has been nothing short of dominant this year.

The Eagles are conceding an alarming rate of both points and passing yards while suffocating the run and scrambling to save victories with sporadic offensive performances. It’s hard to stomach backing a 51-point total, but it’s also easy to see this game hitting 70+ with relative ease given the caliber of offenses and how bad the Eagles’ pass defense has been.
