Justin Fields Over 193.5 Passing Yards: -115
Justin Fields finally had his breakout game last week against the Denver Broncos. Unfortunately, it was accompanied by a majorly blown lead by Chicago. Despite being unable to secure the team’s first win of the season last Sunday, it was a performance worth building off of for Fields, who was initially projected to have a Jalen Hurts-like ascent this season.
Fields should have ample opportunity to attack by air and by ground throughout the game. The only true question is if his offensive line will hold up against a fierce Commanders defense that leads the league in sacks.
Brian Robinson Anytime TD: -115
While Fields is hoping to find some level of success for the Bears this Sunday, Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. is looking to continue his hot start to the season. Contributing both in the rushing and passing attacks, Robinson has already amassed over 300 total yards and four touchdowns on the young season.
The Bears have allowed 100 rushing yards per game to running backs this season. They are giving up the second most receiving yards to backs as well. The biggest struggle of all is the amount of touchdowns the team is allowing to running backs. They are allowing over two a game between the rushing and receiving game. Expect Brian Robinson to get in on that action tonight.
Logan Thomas Over 2.5 Receptions: -150
Another weakness of the Chicago Bears’ defense this season has been their inability to guard opposing tight ends. Sitting just outside of the top 10 in yards allowed to tight ends, what’s more concerning is the number of completions they’re allowing.
The Bears currently allow the fifth most receptions to tight ends in the entire NFL, which could allow for Logan Thomas to have a breakout game.
Over his last two games, he missed Week 3 against Buffalo; Thomas has only been targeted three times in each game. The Commanders quarterback may be a little more reliant on his safety valve as he looks to secure the win and end the team’s slide tonight. Take Logan Thomas +2.5 receptions tonight.
Bears To Cover The Spread (+6): -112
The Commanders should walk away with the win tonight, but the Bears are a desperate team backed into a corner, and desperate teams are dangerous. After finding his grove against the Denver Broncos, Bears quarterback Justin Fields is expected to challenge Washington’s defense, and while Chicago may come up short once again, they’re competitive enough to cover at the very least.
