Nick Chubb Anytime TD: -125

Browns vs. Steelers
CLEVELAND, OH – SEPTEMBER 18: Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb (24) scores on a 12 yard touchdown run during the fourth quarter of the National Football League game between the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns on September 18, 2022, at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, OH. After running all over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1, Nick Chubb is ready to continue what could prove to be his best season as a pro. Against a hurting Steelers defensive line, he’ll have a great chance to do just that.

Last week, Pittsburgh gave up nearly 190 yards on the ground. Granted, they were facing Christian McCaffery, who was responsible for over 150 rushing yards on his own, but the idea of going up against Chubb is no more reassuring.

While Chubb will likely rack up the yards once again, something he’ll look that he failed to do last week is find the endzone. As the star weapon for the Cleveland Browns, he will have ample opportunity.

David Njoku Anytime TD: +310

Another favorite weapon of Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is tight end David Njoku. While he finished Week 1 with just two receptions and 24 yards, Njoku is set up for an easier matchup against Pittsburgh.

Going back to January 2022, Njoku has caught a touchdown pass in three straight games. Look for that trend to continue tonight.

Kenny Pickett to throw an interception (38.5): -125

This game is not shaping up to be a favorable one for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yes, they are at home, but they face a Browns defense that is proving to be one of the best in the league this season. With the addition of new defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, Cleveland has found their defensive voice and will make the lives of many quarterbacks miserable this season. After doing so to Joe Burrow in Week 1, Kenny Pickett is now next on that list.

Last season, Pickett had known issues turning the ball over in a variety of ways, including his nine interceptions. After just one game this season, he is already at two on the year. Against Cleveland, look for that number to go up even further.

Browns Spread (-1.5): -115

This game is not shaping up to be a particularly close one on paper. Looking at the two squads and their directions, one could easily argue that going for the custom spread in Cleveland’s favor is a wise move, and they may not be wrong. Still, it is a divisional matchup and an AFC North matchup at that, and there is still a matter of unpredictability likely to strike during the game.

Still, despite holding home-field advantage, the Steelers just don’t have the players to match up against the Browns, especially without Cam Heyward and Dionte Johnson. Take the Browns confidently with the -1.5 spread.
