The Women’s World Cup is already nearing its end. The Quarter Finals delivered an exhilarating slate of games and now there are only four teams left competing for the grandest prize in all of Women’s Soccer. With the USWNT eliminated, we are now guaranteed to crown a new champion, but which team is the favorite in the betting markets?
Spain will take on Sweden on Monday night (EST) in the first of two semi-final matchups this week, but beating them will be no easy task. Alessia Russo got the winner, and now England is just two games away from winning its first-ever World Cup.
Australia will be the team tasked with stopping Georgia Stanway and company from roaring into the Final. This is their first-ever semi-final appearance and one could argue that England is well-equipped to handle this pressure, whereas the Aussies may experience some teething problems early on.
