The Philadelphia Eagles released their schedule in the most wholesome way imaginable last night, but all eyes now turn to week 1 and a clash with the New England Patriots. The NFL Week 1 odds have also been released and it’s always interesting to see what the lookahead line is.

The Birds opened up as 4.5-point favorites on the road for the season opener against the New England Patriots.

The New England Patriots plan on honoring Tom Brady during their home opener, which could prove to either be a brilliant or horrific decision. Brady is undoubtedly the greatest of all time, but his Super Bowl LVII defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles left a very sore taste in the mouth of #12. Brady did of course win the first Super Bowl contested between the Eagles and Patriots (in controversial fashion, mind), which makes the prospect of spoiling a ceremony like this with a dominant win oh-so salivating.

The Eagles had a tremendous offseason, shaking off any concerns about roster turnover with a meticulous free-agency period and a stunning Draft haul. Oh, and they signed Jalen Hurts to a monstrous new contract. All the stars from last year’s explosive offense return to face a Pats defense that ranked 7th overall and 6th against the run.

As far as the NFL Week 1 odds go, it appears as though Vegas is expecting Philadelphia to pick up where it left off last year, which is just as well given the strength of their 2023 schedule.

If you’re debating on getting in early on some week 1 action, it’s definitely not the worst idea to take advantage of the early NFL Week 1 odds. NFL lines tend to fluctuate depending on sentiment, wagers placed, and of course things like injury updates. If you’re confident that the Eagles can comfortably beat the Patriots by 5 points or more, placing some early money on the NFL week 1 odds could prove to be profitable if the line begins to change between now and September.

The good news is that if you are planning to place some Eagles-related wagers, you can get some amazing sign-up offers for NFL Week 1 odds-related lines. So instead of betting $20 on the Eagles to beat the Pats, you can place that same bet with a new sportsbook and get some HUGE free bets in return! Here are some of our favorite offers:
