As Eagles fans patiently await the release of the full 2023-2024 season schedule, there have been a few game announcements made over the last couple days. The most recent being a Christmas gift to all of Philadelphia – a showdown with the New York Giants on Christmas Day.

Eagles vs Chiefs

Donna Kelce made a FaceBook post claiming that the Eagles and Chiefs were going to be playing in Arrowhead in week 2. Now it is being reported that the Eagles and Giants will have a rematch of last season’s Divisional Round game on Christman Day. The game is also in Philadelphia, which has been a house of horrors for the Giants over the last 2 decades.

Christmas gifts!

Christmas Day this year is on a Monday and a game with the Chiefs is scheduled to kickoff at 4:30pm on Fox.

There also are no international games for the Eagles this season. There are a record-setting 5 this year, but the Eagles have managed to go another year without making the trip across the Pond. Their one and only international game in franchise history remains when they played the Jaguars in London in 2018.

Philadelphia has a recent history of beating New York on Christmas Day. The 76ers have played the Knicks in the Garden 3 of the last 5 years on Christmas, and have won every game. Here’s to hoping that Philly can remain the Grinch to all New York sports fans.
