He’ll need that same form if he is to stop what has been a red-hot Dodgers offense up to this point. Los Angeles has lit up Philadelphia for 26 combined runs over the course of this series and it’s Nola’s job to stop the bleeding.
As for Stone, he’ll be making his MLB debut. He’s the #4 overall prospect and comes into his first major league game sporting a 2.69 ERA at the minor league level, and a 4.74 ERA over 4 his six AAA starts this season. If there is ever a game for the Phils to find a lifeline, this is the one.
