The NFL Draft hasn’t even started yet and chaos is already unfolding. According to Adam Schefter, the Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals have reached a settlement on a tampering incident that took place shortly after the NFC Championship game. The result? An extra THIRD ROUND PICK.

So the Arizona Cardinals snitched on themselves and end up surrendering the 64th overall pick as a result? You cannot make this up.

This is the Cherry on the Cake after Jonathan Gannon’s sporadic ‘Philly media‘ outburst recently. The Cardinals have randomly gifted Gannon’s former team a second-round pick in a Draft where they already have two first-rounders. Magical.

Let the fun begin!

The Eagles own six total picks in the 2023 NFL Draft:

Round 1 (No. 10, via the New Orleans Saints),
Round 1 (No. 30),
Round 2 (No. 62),
Round 3 (No. 64) (From Arizona Cardinals)
Round 7 (No. 219, via the Minnesota Vikings),
Round 7 (No. 248).
