Sixers vs Nets: The Sixers dominated in the opening game of their playoff series against the Brooklyn Nets and will be hoping to do the same this evening.
Our +2200 Same Game Parlay for game 1 was just one leg short in the end. We’re hoping today’s slip flies in as easily as the Sixers won their series opener…and we’re going all-in.

P.J Tucker: 8+ points +275
P.J Tucker could be a great place to find some betting value for tonight’s game. The veteran averaged 3.5 points and 3.9 rebounds for the Sixers during the regular season, but amassed 6 points and 7 boards against the Nets in game 1. If the Sixers can soar to a big lead once again, it could mean consistent minutes for Tucker and more opportunities to cash in on his relatively underpriced totals.
Mikal Bridges: Over 25 points -140
This line was -130 going into game 1 and it’s clear after game 1 that 25 points should be the benchmark for the new cornerstone in Brooklyn. His career numbers against the Sixers weren’t that impressive going into the series, but this is a very different player on a very different team. I think Bridges should be a relatively safe bet to surpass 25 points in most games this Sixers vs Nets series.

Points total: Over 213.5 -110
Sixers vs Nets could well be a prime spot to bet the total.
We mentioned in last game’s SGP piece that the total in games either team has played where it’s been set between 214-217 had a 10-5 record. That’s now 11-5 and the reaction is Vegas shaving a point off the total?
Brooklyn struggles in transition, ranking 27th in the NBA after their trade chaos. With that said, the Sixers are lethal even when struggling. Just look at the Q1 stats from game 1 where they struggled to do much of anything but the points total would suggest otherwise.
The Sixers can push the pace and that means that Brooklyn has to find a way to keep up which should push this total over once more.
DeAnthony Melton: 2+ 3-pointers made -130
If the Sixers do jump out to a big lead, that means more minutes for DeAnthon Melton, who went 2-7 from the 3-point line last time out. He’s shooting .390 from beyond the 3-point line this season and with more minutes comes more chances to right the ship and begin firing consistently. I think this could be a great spot to bet behind that.
