The Phillies announced a multitude of improvements and expansions of Citizens Bank Park on Monday afternoon.

While fans are in for a treat, their wallets might hurt after seeing all the new menu that is coming to Citizens Bank Park this season.

Seasons Inning Stretch

The Phillies have a new, limited-time menu that will be inspired by the seasons this year at CBP. Called the Seasons Inning Stretch, the Phillies, Aramark, and Executive Chef Vonnie Negron have developed new food items to bring a new flavor to Phillies games.

Having a different selection of foods and drinks for Spring, Summer, and Fall, the Phillies have worked hard this off-season cultivating these items.

To lead off, the Phillies unveiled a Jerk Chicken Sandwich, which contains pulled jerk chicken, served on a brioche roll with pickle slaw and fried plantains. This can be found in section 143.

Coca-Cola Corner

Formerly known as Boardwalk Eats at Citizens Bank Park, Coca-Cola Corner has now taken over. The Phillies teamed with Aramark to showcase 7 Philadelphia-area restaurants in the stadium. These restaurants will be unveiled at the park on Thursday for Opening Day and will feature diverse menus from the Philly area.

My favorite part of the change is that 5% of all purchases of these items will go to benefit Philabundance, a charity that helps combat food insecurity. Not only will you be enjoying some ballpark food, but you will be helping those in need, which is always a good feeling.

Limited-Edition Fan Collectibles

There will be some fun food collectibles at the ballpark this season.

The Phillies have always done a great job with their souvenir cups. They debuted new souvenir soda and hot chocolate cups during the playoffs and even had Bryce Harper-themed beer cups in the stadium in 2022.

In 2023 however, there is going to be a big change. There will be 7 different collector cups that will be sold during the season. Each cup will feature a different player and has a unique design.

To start the season off on Opening Day, the collector cup will feature Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins. The photo will include his bat-spike from the NLDS against the Atlanta Braves.

There will also be a koozie that comes with 24 oz beers being sold at the stadium. The koozie will feature Bedlam at the Bank, arguably one of the biggest moments in Phillies history. Most locations that sell beer will also have the koozie available.

New Foods

There is plenty of new food being sold at Citizens Bank Park this season. I got the opportunity to try some of these items while at the Phillies press event on Monday afternoon.

To start Uncle Charlie’s Cheesesteak, named after legendary Phillies manager Charlie Manuel, was fantastic. Nothing is more Philly than a cheesesteak, especially a good quality steak. This will be sold in Section 109 this season.

Another new item that I was granted the opportunity to try was the 1883 Burger. Named after the year the team was formed, this burger will also be sold in section 109, as well as section 207. The meat will always be served fresh and never frozen, to go along with other classic items like chicken tenders, hot dogs, and boardwalk fries.

There are plenty of new foods being added to the stadium, and they were all fantastic. I encourage everyone to try new items with each trip to a Phillies game.
