Philadelphia agreed to terms with former New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Kentavius Street according to a report from Adam Schefter of ESPN. Contract terms have not been announced as of this report.

Who is Kentavius Street?

Street was a fourth-round pick formerly of the San Francisco 49ers before signing on with the Saints in 2022. In four seasons, the 26-year-old has totaled six sacks in just 518 career NFL Snaps. The former NC State product has dealt with injuries since coming into the NFL in 2018 but posted an average 49 grade by Pro Football Focus last season.

The Eagles have been in need of young defensive tackle depth. After the loss of Javon Hargrave in free agency, the team currently employs just Fletcher Cox, Jordan Davis, and Milton Williams on the interior heading to the 2023 season.

Kentavius Street is not the only former Saint making a move to Philly either. Just weeks ago safety Justin Evans was also signed to fill a depth role for the Eagles just weeks ago.

General Manager Howie Roseman has made it clear that the 2023 offseason would be filled by young players with high upside and Street certainly fits that description going into just his fifth NFL season.
