The Miami Hurricanes are coming off two impressive wins over Drake and Indiana. The U scored 148 points in those two games while only allowing 125. They overcame the dreaded 5-12 matchup and then put together a great game in their matchup with the Hoosiers.
The Houston Cougars are a beatable team. While you can make an argument that they were the best team in college basketball this year, they also suffered a pair of brutal losses.
Houston lost 3 games all season. One game was to Alabama, which is another 1 seed this year in March Madness. The other two games, however, were to Temple and Memphis, two American Conference teams.
Miami only lost one game this season by more than 7 points. While they didn’t play a team quite as good as Houston, the Hurricanes were never out of a game. I expect them to play Houston tough, and I would take the points in this game. A $10 bet pays out $19.43.

Isaiah Wong: Over 14.5 Points
Junior guard Isaiah Wong let the Hurricanes in points per game with 16.1 PPG. The New Jersey native has been the best scorer on this team, and if Miami wants to upset Houston, he is going to have to be the best player in this matchup.
Wong averages 16.1 PPG, and his line on Fanduel tonight is 14.5 points. This seems like a no-brainer, especially because he has hit this make in 3 of his last 4 games.
If this game comes down to free throws, Isaiah shot 83.9% from the line in 2022-23. He will make his shots when given the opportunity, which can only help him hit the over.
