After losing both TJ Edwards and Kyzir White to free agency, the Eagles have agreed to a deal with former Bears’ linebacker Nicholas Morrow according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles know that finding the right value for players is significant with a looming contract extension coming for their franchise quarterback.
Get to know Nicholas Morrow
Morrow recorded 116 tackles (11 for a loss) in 17 starts with the Chicago last season. He has started 28 games over the last two seasons and recorded over 200 tackles. The former undrafted free agent will likely take over from Kyzir White as a good pass-defending linebacker who can make plays on the outside. Pro Football Focus graded his 2022 season as an average 54.
Nicholas Morrow’s contract comes a day after the Eagles also agreed to a one-year deal with Justin Evans to help in the secondary.
The contract details have not been finalized for Morrow and the Eagles at this point.
