Jets Super Bowl Odds slashed to +1400

The New York Jets might have only mustered 7 wins last year, but that number could spike in 2023 if they can somehow land QB Aaron Rodgers. That possibility has become far more realistic in the last 24 hours and Vegas has wasted no time in slashing the Jets’ Super Bowl odds.

The New York Jets entered the offseason at +2500 to win the Super Bowl. They’re now inside the top-6 favorites. As far as Jets Super Bowl odds go, this is the lowest they’ve been for a long time.

The first domino to fall was the signing of former Packers wideout Alan Lazard to a four-year deal worth over $40M. With speculation already rising, this sent social media into a frenzy, especially given that Aaron Rodgers was set to make an appearance on Patt McCaffee’s show later that day.

Aaron Rodgers did exactly that and essentially voiced that his intention is to play for the New York Jets, although a trade is anything but a formality. The Packers, per Rodgers, stated their intent to move on and while retirement was an option, the former MVP isn’t done yet.

The Jets have a ferocious defense and if they can finally stop their quarterback carousel from spinning, they have every chance of making a Super Bowl run. With the price already plummeting, there may be no better time to back the Jets, given an official signing may prompt another wave of price crashes in the Jets Super Bowl odds market.

Is this going to be a heroic late twist in the tale of Aaron Rodgers, or yield yet more disappointment for the New York Jets?
