Houston retained its spot at the top of the AP Poll on Monday, but oddly #3 Kansas actually jump the Crimson Tide in the odds list.

Kansas decimated Quad 1 play this season and have one of the strongest starting lineups in the nation. However, beyond that, there is at least reason to be slightly concerned. Their record speaks for itself and the level of scoring from the starters is near-unparalleled, but under the pressures of tournament play, will they be able to shoulder the load for a struggling bench?

Purdue is an interesting team to note. They were very much the darlings of the AP poll throughout the opening portion of the season…and then conference play started along with the dreaded slump. Future star, Zach Edey, has put the team on his back to at least limit the damage, but he’s going to need some help if the Boilermakers have a hope of winning the championship.
