Super Bowl 58 odds

Kansas City Chiefs+600
Buffalo Bills+700
San Francisco 49ers+800
Cincinnati Bengals+900
Philadelphia Eagles+900
Dallas Cowboys+1400

It’s unsurprising to see the Kansas City Chiefs listed as the early favorites here, but the Bills pipping the Bengals to the early #2 spot is a little eyebrow-raising. Cincy demolished Buffalo to the tune of 27-10 in the divisional round and while the Bills may have the better defense, the Bengals have been to two championship games in a row, while the Bills have lost in the divisional round on both of those occasions.

The Eagles being listed on-par the Bengals feels about right, but the Niners slightly edging out both of these two doesn’t feel right. Regardless of if Trey Lance is fully healthy, DeMeco Ryans is now the Head Coach of the Houston Texans and that defense could take a step back as a result. You could say the same for the Eagles if Jonathan Gannon leaves, although a change in philosophy may be welcomed after what we saw in the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs were only narrowly able to scrape past the Eagles, who have an exciting young nucleus to build around and should find themselves back in the playoff hunt pretty comfortably next year. How far they go is anyone’s guess and there are a lot of questions to answer between now and then. With that said, the Super Bowl runners-up being priced at 9/1 feels like a great time to bet on them if you’re confident on another run.

The Eagles started last year at well over +2400 in the Super Bowl odds list. They’ve clearly taken a step forward since then and this could be another great opportunity to find value on Philadelphia.
