The Philadelphia Eagles made quick work of the open punter position on their roster following Arryn Siposs’ injury.

According to Adam Schefter, the Eagles have agreed to terms with former all-pro punter Brett Kern. Kern is set to replace Siposs after the latter suffered a lower leg injury in Sunday’s 48-22 win over the New York Giants.

Another Titan for the Eagles..

Kern is a two-time all-pro punter formerly of the Tennessee Titans. He made the pro-bowl three consecutive years between 2017-2019 and led the league in average punt yards once in 2017.

The former undrafted free agent was cut during the offseason after losing the Titan’s punting job to Ryan Stonehouse in training camp.

Eagles head coach said of Siposs that the injury is “going to be a little bit longer than we expected, so we will have to bring somebody in. Don’t really know how long it’s going to be, but we’re planning. We’ll obviously bring somebody in, and we’re working through that right now.”

Philadelphia made quick work of getting one of the best punters on the open market ready to go with a full week of prep as they begin the stretch run on the regular season.
