Eagles’ Brandon Graham named 2022 Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee

Brandon Graham has been a staple of the Philadelphia Eagles both on and off the field in his 13-year career. Now, another crowning achievement has been passed for the Eagles longest-tenured player.

The Philadelphia Eagles have announced Brandon Graham as its nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award. The award recognizes an NFL player for outstanding community service activities off the field, as well as excellence on the field.

I’m incredibly honored to be named the Eagles’ Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year,” said Brandon Graham. “My journey in Philadelphia over the past 13 years has been a humbling one. This city has embraced me and supported me throughout my career. It’s been a blessing to not only play in front of the best fans in the NFL, but to have the chance to give back to a community that has now become my home. I’ve cherished every moment of this journey, and I’m grateful to be recognized alongside an inspiring group of men who are making a difference in their communities.”

Brandon Graham’s influence

Brandon Graham’s fund offers its time and resources to various organizations and causes in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan. In addition to fundraising events, Team Graham’s efforts include mentoring children and providing clothes and food to families in need. In 2021, Brandon teamed up with Kevin Hart to distribute Thanksgiving meals to families in need. Brandon Graham has also been an active participant in the Eagles Autism Foundation (EAF), the team’s signature charity dedicated to raising funds for innovative autism research and programs.

As part of being one of the 32 nominees, Brandon Graham will wear a Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year helmet decal through the end of the season in recognition of his accomplishments on and off the field.

All 32 team winners will be highlighted as nominees and recognized for their important work during the week leading up to Super Bowl LVII.

The 2022 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year presented by Nationwide will be announced during NFL Honors, a primetime awards special to air the Thursday before Super Bowl LVII, on NBC.
