The PointsBet Triple 0-7 SEC Underdog Parlay of the Week
LEG 1 – Florida @ Tennesee
The Kentucky Wildcats put the Florida Gators on notice. Will Levis looks real, real interesting, and much better than his counterpart on that particular day.
Anthony Richardson hasn’t been what anyone expected. Over the last two games, AR15 has thrown for 255 yards, zero touchdowns, and four interceptions. Things look bleak in Gainesville.
Still, we need to see more from Tennesee before they start laying -10.5 points. A win against 17th-ranked Pittsburgh is nice, but we’ve spent the last decade doing the same dance in Knoxville.
The Vols have only converted 40.5% on third down this season. Here are a few schools that have been better on third down: Coastal Carolina, UConn, and Rice. Before you argue competition, two of Tennesee’s first three games have featured Ball State and Akron.
This game will be a letdown for the Vols. If not, I’ll shave my head and figure out what shape it is.
LEG 2 – Arkansas @ Texas A&M
Texas A&M and Jimbo Fisher have seen enough of Haynes King, and now transfer Max Johnson, son of former NFL-er Brad Johnson, will start for the Aggies on Saturday. That’s just enough uncertainly to like Arkansas getting +2.
Arkansas has the 10th most rushing yards in the NCAA, and that should be enough to hold the lead against a team that just got embarrassed by Appalachian State. Woo pig (audio is terrible, but it sounds scary. Halloween is right around the bend).
LEG 3 – Missouri @ Auburn
Norman Bates would agree; there’s nothing like Missouri. I’ll give you a second.
Auburn looked listless against the mighty Lions of State College, and it seems that yet again, War Eagle died with Gus Malzahn.
So here we are. T.J. Finley is just discount Teddy Bridgewater without the gloves. I bet the oft Alabama beaters are missing even Bo Nix. I know he’s missing them.
Through three games, Finley is averaging the highest yards per attempt (8.1) of his collegiate career, but all he has to show for it is one touchdown and four interceptions.
Want to see a real quarterback? That’s right, #12 Brady ‘don’t call me Tom’ Cook. Missouri takes the gloves off on Saturday. Beat down in Jordan-Hare.
