The Houston Texans will be debuting their brand new ‘Battle Red’ helmet during the 2022 campaign. It looks gorgeous, but of course, it will be debuted against the Philadelphia Eagles.

It’s bad enough that Eagles fans are left twiddling their thumbs while they eagerly await the return of the Kelly Green uniforms, but now they have to sit and smile while these electric red helmets run around NRG Stadium looking like sensational.

Ah well, it’s a lot of effort for a 3-14 team to go to anyway.

You may win this round, Texans

It’s not all doom and gloom though. The Kelly Green jersey and helmet combo will be finally be back in action for the 2023 season. In the meantime, Eagles fans will be given a fancy new black helmet to go with the black alternate jerseys. If the Texans announcement is anything to go by, we could get a fresh look pretty soon!
