Week 11 of 2022

Week 11 saw all 28 teams in action. Teams from the top of the east and west met, and there was some shakeup in the standings as a result. There was late drama, huge blowouts, and some draws as well. Here’s a look back at everything that went on in week 11 of the 2022 season!

Standings After Week 11

Winners in the East: Orlando, Montreal, NYCFC, Cincinnati.

Draws in the East: Philadelphia, New York, Miami, DC, Atlanta, New England.

Losers in the East: Toronto, Charlotte, Columbus, Chicago.

Winners in the West: Colorado, Houston, Salt Lake, Portland, Dallas, Seattle.

Draws in the West: Vancouver, San Jose.

Losers in the West: LAFC, Nashville, Austin, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Minnesota.

Week 12 on Wednesday and possibly the Weekend

Week 12 kicks off today! 20 of the 28 teams play this midweek. Could we see the teams at the top create a bit of distance between themselves and the pack? Will teams rising up the table continue to do so? Here’s a look at the midweek matches that kickoff a crazy week 12!

Wednesday, May 18

  • Vancouver vs Dallas

There are some big matchups with top teams from both conferences in action, including a Philadelphia Union team looking to get back to their winning ways.

MLS hasn’t stated if this Wednesday slate, where 20 of the 28 teams in the league play, is going to be a completed week 12, or if the weekend will also be week 12. Here’s a look at those games as well, whether they’ll be week 12 or 13 of action in this season.

The weekend matches are just as exciting as all teams are in action. With only one more week before an international break, MLS teams will need to show what they’ve got as the calendar begins to turn to the summer months.

Will the teams that have started or gotten hot recently continue to stay at the top of their respective conferences? Will the surprises of the season continue to trend in a direction that no one thought they would? Will we see some surprise ruslts that shake up the standings when we get to this break? We’ll have to wait to find out!
