The Sixers are in the middle of a thrilling playoff series against the Heat, but today they made headlines thanks to Adam Sandler’s latest movie trailer.

Tuesday morning, Netflix dropped the latest trailer for their upcoming film “Hustle.” The movie is based in Philadelphia and stars many NBA players, including members of the Sixers such as Doc Rivers, Tyrese Maxey, Tobias Harris, and Matisse Thybulle. Former Sixers Seth Curry and Boban Marjonovic also make appearances, as you will see in the trailer.

In the film, Adam Sandler stars as a long-suffering scout for the Philadelphia 76ers who potentially discovers the next big thing in Spain — played by Juancho Hernangomez of the Utah Jazz. Sandler’s character views the street baller as his chance to make a name for himself and perhaps, maybe even take a step closer to his dream of coaching in the NBA.

Netflix released the first trailer back in February, and it was clear from the jump that the movie would be full of the sights and sounds of Philadelphia.

From the Sixers’ cameos to Sandlers’ Federal Donuts sweatshirt, this film looks like an enjoyable stream for those from the Philly area. “Hustle” premieres on Netflix on June 8th.
