This month, the Philadelphia Flyers are road warriors. They’re 2-2-0 in April 2022, earning victories against the New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets. On home ice, it’s a different story.

Remember Carter Hart in 2019-2020? He was automatic at the Wells Fargo Center.

Hart is 0-2-0, losing both games at home in April. That makes Martin Jones undefeated this month, including a win at Madison Square Garden. Tonight, the Anaheim Ducks visit “the City of Brotherly Love.” Mike Yeo decided to stay with the hot hand.

The puck drops at 7:30pm, but be sure to get to your seat for the 50th Anniversary ceremony honoring Lou Nolan as the Flyers’ PA Announcer!

Anaheim Ducks (28-32-12; 68pts)

Out of the lineup are Max Jones (upper body,) Jakob Silfverberg (undisclosed,) Troy Terry (upper body,) and Ryan Getzlaf (lower body.) Josh Mahura is a healthy scratch. Gerry Mayhew enters the lineup against his former team, similar to Anthony Stolarz.

Here’s the projected lineup for the Anaheim Ducks:

Grant-Zegras-Mayhew
Aston-Reese-Henrique-Simon
Milano-Lundestrom-Carrick
Comtois-Steel-Lettieri

Fowler-Drysdale
Vaakanainen-Shattenkirk
Benoit-Sustr

Stolarz
(Gibson)

Stolarz (10-7-2, 2.55GAA, 92%SV) is the likely starter for the Ducks. Formerly a Philadelphia Flyer, Stolarz faces his old team for the first time in his career.

Adam Henrique (15G, 19A) earns the visiting spotlight. He’s never won against the Flyers while on the Ducks. Henrique had a powerplay goal against the Calgary Flames in a 4-2 loss. Philadelphia kills penalties at a 90% rate over their last five games, presenting a recent challenge for the Anaheim powerplay.

Philadelphia Flyers (23-37-11; 57pts)

Out of the lineup are Ryan Ellis (lower body,) Sean Couturier (back,) Nick Seeler (lower body,) and Joel Farabee (flu.) Keith Yandle and Zack MacEwen are healthy scratches.

Here’s the projected lineup for the Philadelphia Flyers:

van Riemsdyk-Laughton-Atkinson
Cates, N-Hayes-Tippett
Lindblom-Frost-Konecny
Hodgson-Brown-Thompson

Provorov-York
Sanheim-Ristolainen
Connauton-Attard

Jones
(Hart)

Jones (10-14-3, 3.29GAA, 90.4%SV) will start. He has the hot hand this month. In his career, Jones is 12-11-1 versus the Anaheim Ducks.

Kevin Hayes (8G, 18A) earns the home spotlight. He has been on a tear lately. In his last five games, he averages a point. Hayes played his best game of the season in the 4-1 victory against the Columbus Blue Jackets on a line with Noah Cates and Owen Tippett.
