The Flyers are back in action tonight against the St. Louis Blues for their second game of a five game road trip. The Flyers enter tonight’s game following a 6-3 loss to the Red Wings on Tuesday.

The Orange & Black are also looking for their first road win of 2022. Philadelphia hasn’t won on the road since December 29th, 2021.

St. Louis Blues (35-18-9; 79pts)

The Blues come into tonight’s matchup sitting in second place in the Central Division. Only one point ahead of the Wild and Predators, each game for the Blues is crucial since they won’t be catching the Avalanche for the top spot.

Vladimir Tarasenko (20G, 34A) will be back in the lineup tonight after missing the last two games with an illness.

Newly acquired defenseman Nick Leddy (47.9%CF, 49BLK, 23GV, -33) will be making his Blues debut tonight. Leddy was traded from the Red Wings to the Blues on Monday.

Defenseman Torey Krug will not be playing tonight after being injured against the Capitals on Tuesday.

The Blues enter tonight following a 5-2 road win against the Capitals on Tuesday.

Blues Projected Lineup:

Philadelphia Flyers (20-32-11; 51 pts)

Hodgson Debut

Hayden Hodgson will be making his Flyers debut tonight. The Flyers inked Hodgson to a two-way deal earlier in the week. Hodgson has played well with the Phantoms this year, scoring 29 points in 44 games.

Returning to Form

Joel Farabee (13G, 16A) missed 18 games earlier this year, but he’s starting to find his play again. He’s scored 10 points over the past 9 games (2G, 8A). With Giroux no longer on the team, Farabee saw his minutes grow against the Red Wings on Tuesday. He also saw himself being played as a center.

The added minutes and position change will only continue to make him better.

Lindblom Out

Oskar Lindblom will not be in the lineup tonight following today’s morning skate. Mike Yeo says Lindblom is banged up and it’s better to sit him.

With Lindblom out, it looks like the Flyers will return to playing 11 forwards and 7 defenseman like they did on Tuesday night.
