Haason Reddick has officially been an Eagle for a little over 24 hours. He’s already showing he’s willing to do whatever it takes to help improve the defense.

With free agents still pondering where their overall best fits are, the newest weapon on Gannon’s defense has taken to Twitter to try and convince some of the best defensive talent available to come to the City of Brotherly Love.

Reddick joined Darius Slay in looking to bring Vikings CB, Patrick Peterson to Philadelphia. On NFL Network Wednesday, Peterson showed interest in coming to Philly, and it seems that those on the defense see that he still has more in the tank to help the roster.

IDL, Matt Ioannidis, was released from the Washington Commanders on Wednesday and has opened up some controversy via their agent.

There’s certainly a possibility Ioannidis could come to Philly to help bolster their DL after losing Hassan Ridgeway in FA. It would also help that he would end up playing the Commanders twice a season if he were to come to Philadelphia.

We’ve seen more and more defensive players try to convince free agents to come to their respective teams. The fact that Reddick is already taking ownership and trying to help improve the team any way he can is certainly going to make him a fan favorite very quickly.

The fans and front office know that there are more moves to make during free agency. Getting help on the recruiting end can certainly help even the odds against some other franchises with more money available as well.
