For the final time this season, the Flyers (18-29-10) take on the Hurricanes (40-12-5,) hoping to even the regular-season series in Raleigh. Carolina is looking to bring their home point streak to thirteen games.

The longest losing streak that Philadelphia notched this season also happened to be their franchise record, thirteen straight losses.

Previous Matchups

Friday, November 12: Carter Hart had a whopping 39 saves for the Flyers, helping them take a 2-1 victory at PNC Arena.

Friday, November 26: The Canes ended a six-game road trip on a high note with a major 6-3 win over Philadelphia.

Monday, February 21: Brett Pesce saved the day in overtime, scoring with just 18 seconds to go, giving the Canes another victory against the Flyers.

Philadelphia Fly-By

Philadelphia gave up four goals to Florida in the first period on Thursday, leaving them trailing behind the Panthers early on. After forty minutes, the Flyers were able to catch up and make it 4-3, but the Panthers ultimately took home the win, ending the game 6-3. Philadelphia is 3-5-2 in their last ten games and is tied for the league-low with only seven road victories this year.

Home Ice ‘Canes

The Canes have points in twelve straight home games, dating back to their win over Vancouver on January 15, 2021. If they earn a point today, they’ll claim the second place title for the second-longest streak in franchise history. The 2005-06 team is the only time a team has earned points in more than thirteen games.
