It’s the end of 2021, and with that being said, it’s time to take a look back. We at PSN did this already with our 2021 Wrapped of the Philadelphia Union. Now it’s time to get down to the nitty-gritty! Who won PSN’s Union You pick’em contest?!
Ya’ll probably thought that we forgot about this, and you wouldn’t be wrong about that for most of the year… but now we’ve crunched all the numbers and found out who won our contest!
And the winner is…
Ricky Zellefrow predicted 65% of the Union’s 2021 season correctly! This is the highest percentage out of the 17 people who filled out our survey. He comes out on top with 26 correct predictions out of 40!
Congrats Ricky! Check the email you provided in the contest for the way to get your free Philly Sports Network tee shirt!
15 other fans who came up short on their predictions, but if you want to see what nice things you could win next year, check out the PSN Merch store! While you might not have won, that doesn’t mean there aren’t any bragging rights still on the table!
How’d you stack up against PSN’s Union Gang?
Ricky, Cortney, and Jimbo all had better picks than us; while Anthony would’ve tied our top two winners!
Yours truly, and John (El Parcero Philly) tied for the top spot of the PSN’s Union Gang with 19/40. The 47.5% correct picks would only be good enough to be in a tie for fifth-best in our fan pick’em poll. Justin and Zach would finish seventh and a tie for eighth-best picks respectively. So take that for what it’s worth!
Us Doop by the River Pod guys thought logically with their 2021 picks. Three of the four of them predicted the Union would make their first-ever eastern conference final; all three of them had Philly losing in that match… will they feel the same way heading into 2022?
It’s been a fun 2021, and 2022 will be an even better year for the Union coverage over at Philly Sports Network!
