We’re approaching the 12th week of the NFL season and the Eagles are somehow still healthy? I don’t understand either.

Darius Slay has officially cleared concussion protocol and will return to the field to face the Giants on Sunday. This is huge for the Birds after the three-time Pro Bowler exploded into life over the past couple of months. Slay’s lockdown ability has been one of the lone constants on an otherwise unpredictable defense and with the NFC East race really heating up, he’ll be called upon early and often.

As expected, the Eagles will be without Jordan Howard, which should lead to a more cemented role for Miles Sanders, although, Boston Scott is the New York Giants killer. Will we see even more of Scott’s antics this weekend?

It does still feel surreal to be discussing a team in week 12 who are yet to have a bye and are somehow the healthiest they’ve been in close to a decade. Philly will be hoping to go into their bye in week 14 with the same clean slate of health and renewed divisional title hopes.
